Présentation de l'album
Virgin Records and Little Minx present brilliant photographer and filmmaker Mark Seliger's portrait of the endlessly innovative, iconoclastic and uncompromising Lenny Kravitz.
Seliger has managed to capture and contain here the relentless creative drive of a man who has found a way to be a rock star on his own spiritually motivated terms.

Lenny Live rocks and stops, hangs with friends. Plays with his audiences. And shows you everything: both the style and swagger and the unguarded sensitivity that make him a man realizing his mission.
As he has said: "The music will always tell you what's going on, where it's heading and when it gets there. All you have to do is listen."

Lenny Kravitz Invites Himself To Your House

First of all, Lenny Kravitz has got to have the coolest hair in the music industry. Second of all, he's coming out with his first-ever DVD.

Aptly titled Lenny Live, the DVD has been released on November 26, brought to you by the fine folks at Virgin Records. It features concert footage from his 2002 world tour in support of his latest album, Lenny, which has sold over 650,000 copies worldwide. Also included is a whole whack of bonus stuff that these newfangled DVDs usually come with such as backstage footage of Lenny and his band doing all types of laid-back rock star stuff.

As far as the concert goes, you'll get 17 live performances in total. The live stuff features tracks from Kravitz's past six Virgin albums, from 1989's Let Love Rule right up to 2001's Lenny. There are three tunes from the new album "Dig In," "Yesterday Is Gone" and "If I Could Fall In Love" plus many older hits like "Let Love Rule" and "American Woman." Also featured is a rendition of "Again" from his Greatest Hits album, released in 2000, as well as a cover of rock legends Earth, Wind & Fire's "Shining Star" done up Lenny-style.

Man, it's like a party on your sofa and everyone's invited. Sorta.

The DVD is directed by Kravitz's personal friend Mark Seliger, who was also in charge of the filming of the concert. The two have teamed up before on Seliger's book Kravitz, which is a photographic journal of the nose-ringed rocker's private and performing life.
